Arc Visual Communications was awarded the contract to design and produce promotional literature for a new digital competition being created by the University of Abertay, Dundee. Arc Visual researched the market and examined the current potential participants of the competition.
Arc submitted a proposal promoting the name Dare to be Digital. This name was subsequently adopted and used to develop a marketing strategy which consisted of web development and promotional literature containing digital content. Due to the nature of the competition Arc felt that conventional methods of communication were inappropriate and that a digital method needed to be employed. This was duly adopted and successfully developed for future years.
Dare to be Digital is now an internationally recognised competition which happens every summer, working with local and international teams to develop digital initiatives.
