The DJCAD Projects
Students within Communication Design, level 2, have produced a set of animations exploring substance misuse from various perspectives. They have challenged the issues surrounding substance misuse, exploring the social and community dimensions through visual interpretations that use animation to communicate the complexities.
Level3students engaged with 3 individuals who shared their stories of substance misuse. This was a vey powerful session, both for the students and the
participants. Students were then asked to produce short typographic motion films, using the narratives from the individuals. The result was 12 kinetic motion pieces.
